Just an FYI: Deschutes clay is not a particularly plastic body, and does not like being extruded. After 3 failed attempts to extrude these tiles, I finally switched to a different die which worked better. These test tiles are about 1/3 larger, slightly fatter and taller than the other standard test tiles, and use about 1/3 more clay per tile. This die also has softer curved texture on the front of the tile, so I added a stamp to the back for some texture with a sharper edge.
